STEIN MART AD Mentioning Michelle Obama!

We saw an ad last night on tv of Stein Mart. It was only a 30 second ad or so, but the very end was extremely disturbing and honestly not needed. The commercial spoke of how the economy was not so great, and basically Stein Mart would be a good place to shop during these troubled times. The ending of the ad simply stated something like this"

I think Michelle Obama would go in there, I really do…


Now, there is no need whatsoever for this to be in a retail store ad, so I have decided to write Stein Mart about this ridiculous advertisement. This is what I wrote:

I am writing about an ad I saw last night on television. It showed a woman speaking about the economy and the great prices that Stein Mart had to offer. At the very end, me and my wife noticed a quick statement, "I think Michelle Obama would go in there, I really do… Stein Mart is a retailer. Not a political group. I normally shop at Stein Mart because of the prices and the selection. However, it doesn't make sense to me, that almost half of the nation didn't vote for President Obama. So, that means, that if every person in America saw that ad, almost half of Americans would not like it, most likely. I am one that did NOT appreciate bringing politics into an advertisement of a retail clothes store. That's exactly the same thing as actors and famous people in Hollywood going out in public and basically making it known as to which candidate they like or dislike. I don't want to know whom these people favor one way or the other.

In a nutshell, SELL CLOTHES, not politics.

From now on, I will never shop at Stein Mart again, and my wife will not as well. I will make sure that everyone I know hears about this ad, as it is an utter and complete disgrace.

Well, well! America, are you happy now? Like the old saying goes...if you wish hard enough for something, you just might get it. Well, America, we do have it. Socialism has officially come to America. These left wing nuts on Capitol Hill have absolutely no idea how to stimulate the economy, and the upcoming European Socialist Act of 2009 is a load of garbage. The only thing this package will do is give every single democrat what they have wanted for years....POWER. This will not help the middle class, this will not help the average individual who is trying to provide for their families, and this will take years and years to pay back! Our children, and our children's children, are going to be slaves! Anyone that backs this, whether Republican or Democrat, is a wacked out nut job! The only way to help our economy is get lower taxes and cut them big time. Don't you idiots on Capitol Hill get it? Oh, wait a minute, Obama doesnt care and neither do most democrats. They just want it get passed without it being scrutinized. Sorry, that ain't happenin! Oh, and if this stimulus package does get passed, if you think for one second that the economy is bad now, just wait. Nowhere in the history of the universe has more government worked. It's been proved time and time again. Socialism will NOT WORK!

Inaugural Speech

Barack Obama has been favored by the people in the UK and beyond. However today with his inaugural speech according to the UK Telegraph....

Obama's sublime gifts as an orator, he had so far failed to coin an indelible phrase that his audience could "take home with them", aside from "Yes we can". He needed a soundbite to rival JFK's "Ask not what your country…". And unless this reviewer missed it, he failed to coin one.

His speech was bland and lacked content and character. Media has mentioned in the past few days that Obama would be writing this speech by himself with no help whatsoever. In all honesty, it showed today.
